The information on zygo.be is for general informational purposes only. All information is provided in good faith; however, we make no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding its accuracy or completeness. Your use of the site and reliance on any information on the site is solely at your own risk.

This site uses Rybbit to help analyse how visitors use the site. Rybbit is a cookieless, privacy-first analytics tool that collects no personally identifiable information and sets no cookies on your device. No personally identifiable information is collected about you unless you explicitly submit that information via a fill-in form on this website. This website also uses a custom cookie consent manager to handle your preferences, Tally to power contact forms, LinkedIn plugins for sharing functionality, Cloudflare for security and performance, and Snitcher to identify the companies (not individuals) visiting this website based on IP address lookup. Please refer to our Cookie Policy below for details of all cookies and third-party services in use.

ZYGO.be is operated from Belgium and is subject to the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Belgian Act of 30 July 2018 on the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data. Where personal data are processed, such processing takes place strictly in accordance with applicable data protection law.

Privacy Policy for ZYGO.be

Effective Date: Friday 7 May 2026

Welcome to zygo.be (the "Website"), operated by ZyGo ("us", "we", or "our"). This Privacy Policy addresses the collection, use, and disclosure of personal information we receive from users of the Website. This policy applies to all visitors, users, and others who access the Website. By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by this policy. If you disagree with any part of the terms, then you may not access the Website.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience while using our Website, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The only analytical data we collect is provided through Rybbit, a cookieless analytics platform.

Rybbit: We use Rybbit to measure traffic on our Website. Rybbit is an open-source, cookieless analytics platform that sets no cookies, stores no personally identifiable information, and does not fingerprint users. It uses a daily-salted hash of the visitor's IP address and browser user-agent to count unique visitors — a value that cannot be traced back to any individual and is reset daily.

Snitcher: We use Snitcher (Radar) to identify the companies (not individuals) that visit our Website, based on IP address reverse lookup. Snitcher loads on every page visit in a consent-free mode — tracking anonymous pageviews and sessions without setting any cookie on your device. When you grant analytics consent via our cookie banner, Snitcher also sets the snitcher_device_id cookie (1 year) to enable cross-session company recognition. The legal basis for consent-free session tracking is our legitimate interest in understanding which organisations are interested in our services (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cookie-based cross-session tracking relies on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).

Tally: We use Tally to power contact forms on this Website. When you submit a form, Tally processes the information you provide in order to respond to your enquiry. Tally sets a cookie to enable the form embed functionality.

LinkedIn: This Website includes LinkedIn share buttons and may load LinkedIn advertising tags. LinkedIn sets cookies (li_gc, lidc, bcookie) to support sharing functionality and, where applicable, to measure the effectiveness of advertising. Please refer to LinkedIn's privacy policy for details.

Cloudflare: We use Cloudflare for security, performance, and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may set the _cfuvid cookie for session tracking to optimise user experience and maintain session consistency.

ZYGO Cookie Consent: We use a custom cookie consent manager to record your cookie preferences on this Website. Your preferences are stored in your browser's localStorage under the key zygo_consent. This is not a cookie — it is local browser storage that is never transmitted to our servers. It persists until you clear your browser data or change your preferences via the cookie settings button on the site.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Website.

This Website uses cookies from third-party providers (Cloudflare, Tally, LinkedIn, and Snitcher). Our analytics tool, Rybbit, is fully cookieless and sets no cookies. Your consent preferences are stored in localStorage (not as a cookie). A full list of all cookies, their purposes, and their lifespans is available in our Cookie Policy.

Security

The security of your Personal Information is important to us, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Links to Other Sites

Our Website may contain links to other sites that are not operated by us. If you click on a third-party link, you will be directed to that third party's site. We strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of every site you visit. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
