HR Manager
About ZYGO
The role
We’re looking for an HR Officer to build and own the HR foundation at ZYGO. This role is focused on scaling the team without introducing unnecessary overhead. You ensure that hiring, onboarding, and HR operations run efficiently, while maintaining a high-performance environment. You operate close to the founders and team leads, translating growth into structure.
This role can be combined with the Office and Business Support Manager role into a full-time role.
What you will do
- Own recruitment end-to-end, from defining roles to closing candidates
- Define and drive the HR strategy aligned with company growth
- Implement and run performance management processes (evaluations, growth paths)
- Build and optimize onboarding so new hires become productive fast
- Manage HR operations including contracts, payroll coordination, and policies
- Maintain a strong team dynamic by balancing autonomy with accountability
- Ensure compliance with legal and operational HR requirements
- Work closely with leadership to anticipate hiring needs and organizational changes
- Represent ZYGO at job fairs and recruitment events to attract new talent
